Don't Take It Personally

PEOPLE ARE SELFISH. THEY'RE WRAPPED UP IN THEIR OWN WORLD. THEY DON'T NOTICE YOUR SUFFERING OR CELEBRATE YOUR SUCCESS. DON'T TAKE IT PERSONALLY. DISINTEREST SEEMS TO BE THE WAY OF THE WORLD. THIS IS NEITHER WRONG NOR RIGHT, NEITHER GOOD NOR BAD. IT SIMPLY IS THE WAY IT IS. THINK HOW IT WOULD BE IF PEOPLE DID NOTICE EVERY TIME YOU DID SOMETHING WRONG. THEY'D POINT IT OUT TO YOU. THEY'D CONFUSE YOU WITH SUGGESTIONS. THEY'D ANGER YOU WITH THEIR INTRUSIONS. IT WOULD BE HARDER TO MAKE CORRECTIONS AND MOVE ON. DON'T TAKE IT PERSONALLY WHEN A STRANGER GETS ANGRY AT YOU; ASSUME THAT IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU. HE'D BEEN HOLDING IN HIS FEELINGS A LONG TIME BEFORE YOU CAME INTO HIS LIFE. DON'T TAKE IT PERSONALLY WHEN YOUR NEIGHBOR COMPLAINS ABOUT YOUR DOG, WHEN A CAR BREAKS DOWN RIGHT AFTER YOU HAD IT FIXED, OR WHEN THE COMPUTER FAILS AND IMPORTANT DATA ARE LOST. ( ok, i know it's difficult )

THE NEGATIVITY THAT YOU CHOOSE TO REACT TO IS ONLY A SOUNDING BOARD FOR WHAT YOU FEEL INSIDE. THESE SAME EVENTS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED WHETHER YOU WERE THERE OR NOT. IF YOU DIDN'T FEEL BAD ABOUT YOURSELF, YOU NEVER WOULD HAVE TAKEN THE EVENTS OF THE WORLD SO PERSONALLY. THE OUTSIDE WORLD HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU. The world is within you - all the caring, all the sublime inspiration, all the doubt. The way you react to the world only reflects how you feel about yourself.

The Wisdom of Feelings

In feelings there is wisdom, for the simplest feelings speak the greatest truth. Pain in life comes from avoiding the truth that your feelings tell. Become comfortable with your feelings, because your feelings are your life. Trust your feelings. They're the only true guidance you'll ever get. If you know what you're feeling, you know what the world is revealing to you. If you cannot be true to your feelings, you cannot be true to yourself. Trust them, but first you have to know what you really feel. When you find out when a feeling STARTED, you also find out WHY. The feelings you are afraid to release cause you to hold onto other things. Stay-up-to-date with your feelings. Don't store them. When a feeling ages, it becomes less honest. The more immediately you express your hurt, the more completely it resolves. Stand up for your feelings and you're free to be yourself. You have to be able to cry to live fully, for tears in the right place cause healing. Your feelings are explanation enough. Let them speak. The greatest credential is the human heart.

Pay your own way

OK, Listen.
Here's an interesting idea. It has some wonderful benefits.
Pay your own way.
You won't owe anyone anything. Anything!

You won't be compromised by the fear of disappointing people. Other people's expectations will simply be their expections, not your obligation.
You can make your own decision: where to go, what to do, where to stay, what to eat, when to leave, and when to remain home. You can say no without feeling guilty and yes without feeling selfish.

If you cannot afford the things you want to do without someone else's paying for you, let it be a reminder of your limitations, an encouragement to expand. Reality is creativity's best inspiration.

If you want to do something that badly, you'll do it. You'll make a plan or figure out a way. You can do it if you really want to.

And if you can't figure out a way to do what you want right now, then you have an even more valuable lesson to learn. Maybe you can rethink how you live your life, what makes you happy, what you can and can't afford. Maybe our work needs to be more fulfilling so you don't feel you need to reward yourself for suffering at a boring job.

A happy life is scaled to your reality, not your fantasy.

A wealthy person can have anything he wants-but not everything.

A rich person needs nothing.

A poor person feels in debt to the entire world.

Dictation - A voice to remember

Charles Dickens began by pasting labels on blacking posts. The tragedy of his first love penetrated the depths of his soul, and converted him into one of the world's truly great authors. That tragedy produced, first, David Copperfield, then a succession of other works that made this a richer and better world for all who read his books. Disappointment over love affairs, generally has the effect of driving men to drink, and women to ruin; and this is because most people never learn the art of transforming their strongest emotions into dreams of a constructive nature.

Hellen Keller became deaf, dumb, and blind shortly after birth. Despite her greatest misfortune, she has written her name indelibly in the pages of the history of the great. Her entire life has served as evidence that no one ever is defeated until defeat has been accepted as a reality.

Robert Burns was an illiterate country lad, he was cursed by poverty, and grew up to be a drunkard in the bargain. The world was made better for his having lived, because he clothed beautiful thoughts in poetry, and thereby plucked a thorn and planted a rose in its place.

Booker T. Washington was born in slavery, handicapped by race an d color. Because he was tolerant, had an open mind at all times, on all subjects, and was a dreamer, he left his impression for good on an entire race.

Bethoveen was deaf, Milton was blind, but their names will last as long as time endures, because they dreamed and translated their dreams into organized thoughts.

There is a difference between wishing for a thing and being ready to receive it. No one is ready for a thing, until he believes he can acquire it. The state of mind must be belief, not mere hope or wish. Open-mindedness is essential for belief. Closed minds do not inspire faith, courage and belief.

Remember, no more effort is required to aim high in life, to demand abundance and prosperity, than is required to accept misery and poverty.

Think and Grow Rich

Universal truth through lines

"I bargained with Life for a penny,
And Life would pay no more,
However i begged at evening
When I counted my scanty store."

"For Life is just an employer,
He gives you what you ask,
But once you have set the wages,
Why, you must bear the task."

"I worked for a menial's hire,
Only to learn, dismayed,
That any wage I had asked of Life,
Life would have willingly paid."

Idle

The Devilish mind: I can't seem to set my mind on something which needs more consideration. I haven't done any deep thinking into what comes in the next phases. I need time but am aware it's running out. I couldn't catch nor find my way back to square one. It's a disappointment by far. I hate losing my true self...was that an external psychology taking its way in...Where in particular are my passion? What could be done to find them? Why am i feeling sulky towards unimportant stuff? Where are my principles...

The Angelic mind: I've got to fish it out. Fear not. You know what you wanted. List them out like you had enlisted them. You had your mental notes. Search them from your system. You'll be amazed at how enlighten you are as you did. Read the inspirational books. Keep your materialization at bay. Survive frugally is your prioritized goal. One million spent on me has to have its worth. You've got to triple the figure in years time. There's no such thing as intentional studies. One leads to another and you don't predict. You wouldn't know where you'll be diverted into. You'll know when you are in a position for it. Enrich yourself with the potentials. Don't sway from your goals to gold. Last but not least, be grateful. Thank lord for sending me to the world of competence where it's the best place to grow. Growing up with responsibilities and expectations are transcendent. I'm grateful.
